15mm FOW Commission - LW PzGr

Work in progress shot of LW Pz Gr, in standard feldgrau uniforms. Little bit more work to do on these, but pretty straightforward - should be able to do around 4 a day, probably more.

Ok, so here are soem of the latest completions for you to see:

First up, the 5 bases of MGs...

Next, we have the finished 75mm Pack Howitzers...

And finally, the 3 PIAT teams. These units are some of the favourite ones I've done, nice crisp finish : D

That's it for now, working at a furious pace at the moment, so I'll get back into it!

Super Stealthy Stuarts

So stealthy in fact, that they've managed to sneak on to some Hamilcar gliders. (Whilst directing the Tetrarch squadron to the wrong airfield, naturally).
Details added - A Squadron triangular tactical marking, squadron leader diamond in central vehicle, regiment markings on front flanks, Allied star on turret top-surfaces, and a bit of weathering. (Gotta get me those Tamiya weahering sticks!) Oh, and the tank numbers.

And so it begins...

Early stages of work being carried out on Pack 75mm and tows, and also on Tetrarch tanks. I apologise for my captions...

- "Call in the heavy artillery!"
-"Sir, don't take the piss."

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? Is it a monster? No, actually, it's a Tetrarch...

That's it for now, more to come soon enough!

You call that a knife?? Well I call this a Panzerkampfwagen VI B "Kingtiger" with Henschel turret and zimmerit anti-magnetic mine paste!...

Pff, T-34's, who needs them?? Stalin Tanks? Don't make me laugh! A few shots of work-in-progess Tiger II's for my own collection, these ones bearing a camouflage pattern destined to mark them out as the 501st SS Schwere Panzer Abteilung (Heavy Tank Battalion).

Next to come wil be a batch marked up as the 505th. So what if we built 353 in 1944 and the Americans built nearly 89,000 tanks (mostly Shermans)??? We can take 'em! What do you mean we've got no fuel...?
As always, happy gaming,

He runs, he flys, he paints wargames miniatures!

Some new images for the delectation of all...

Completed 15mm FOW order : American Airborne Platoon and Early/Mid-War SS Panzergrenadiers. Also shown here is the manner of dispatch, secured and presented in a handily platoon-sized box!

From the workshop...

Just thought that these shots might be of interest, taken a few days ago before the digicam went on holiday with another member of the family : some 15mm FOW German (SS)Panzergrenadiers, as well as some 82nd Airborne - look carefully for the Divisional shoulder patches ; )
Just an example of some of the things I'm working on at the moment! Many thanks to those who have expressed praise and/or interest in the site, the response has been amazing so far. Anyway, back to the grindstone...

The Shots Seen Round the World...

Damn, well they came out in reverse order, but I guess it doesn't matter : )

Tiger I and 8.8cm FLAK 36 (Left to Right in all cases)...

German Reconnaissance- Sdfkz 222 and Sdkfz 234/1 in the background, with front and rear views of two recce infantry units.

Another of the same, showing the entire platoon/company, with armoured cars to the rear.

British anti-tank gun support ; 6pdr and two 17pdrs, with Bren Carriers in the background.

Just a few of the many... British Airborne. The centre-front unit is a surplus base (28th), which I added an offcier to to mark it out as the Brigade Defence Platoon unit during my ongoing Arnhem campaign.

I've also taken a variety of shots of my Kursk and late-war German armour, Russian armour, and Western Allied tanks, but I'll hold those for a while. If you'd like to see them anyway, let me know of course ; )

Work in progress...

The very last of my British Paras - a couple of minutes prior to
going to have their bases finished off, and parachute winds added to their berets.
Having concluded that I now have enough units to field an entire Parachute Brigade, along with an Airlanding anti-tank battery!

Just a quick taster, I'm in the process of photographing the rest of my collection for a portfolio, for people who might be interested in engaging my services.

Happy gaming, tim.
